Tax Intern

About the role
We’re seeking a proactive, eager-to-learn individual with a "can-do" attitude to provide support across a range of tasks. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, tax analysis, tax compliance, project management, and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role offers flexibility and opportunities to engage in a variety of tax-related tasks, supported by the expertise from the tax team, fostering professional growth and development.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Tax Review: Preparing tax cost estimations and summarising tax requirements for new market expansions.
Tax Forecasting and Risk Control: Analysing tax setups, including invoicing flows, payment processes, and reporting procedures; and highlighting potential tax risks.
Shareholder Collaboration: Collaborating with Finance and cross-functional teams to align on tax-related matters.
Data Analysis: Extracting and analysing data to support responses to tax authority inquiries and internal questions.
Operational Support: Assisting with tax-related tickets from other teams (e.g. invoicing, new products, partnerships, T&Cs).
Tax Compliance: Supporting tax filings, handling partner complaints, liaising with tax advisors, and sharing tax policy updates with local teams.

What we expect
About you:
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
You have a basic understanding of tax concepts and an interest in international tax matters.
You communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and spoken.
You’re proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
You enjoy solving problems, working with different teams, and contributing to practical business decisions.
