Operations Coordinator

We're searching for a data-driven, hands-on, and entrepreneurial individual to join our Washington D.C. Micromobility Operations team.

About the role

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll play a crucial part in optimizing our fleet, coordinating our warehouse and field teams, and acting as our local expert to understand the unique needs of our riders. You'll navigate the entire operational journey, from a vehicle's arrival at our warehouse to the completion of a customer's ride. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of mobility in the Disctrict.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Oversee the hiring, training, and coaching of Mechanics and/or Fleet Support staff for vehicle deployment and retrieval.
Ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment that supports the operational vehicle fleet.
Develop and implement new processes and best practices to improve warehouse operational excellence.
Collaborate with teams to identify expansion opportunities and drive local initiatives for revenue growth.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess profitability, revenue, and operational performance..
Manage complaints and customer incidents and partner on legal, regulatory, and safety matters.
What we expect
About you:
You bring 4+ years of professional experience, ideally with at least one year in an Operations role, and you have experience leading teams.
You possess strong knowledge of the D.C. Metro Area, enabling you to anticipate operational needs and challenges.
You are a resilient, entrepreneurial, and adaptable individual, comfortable in dynamic environments.
You are an energetic and sound decision-maker, adept at making data-driven and cost-efficient choices.
You are fluent in verbal and written English, with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, allowing you to interpret data and gain insights.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and if you're US-based, you hold a valid in-state driver's license.
