Riders with service animals
Service animals are permitted to accompany riders at all times without extra charge. Please note that refusing to allow an assistance animal into your vehicle might lead to your account being blocked.
If you need to cancel or refuse to carry out a ride because of medical reasons, e.g. allergies, please explain to the rider the reason why. You will not be penalised in such a case.
Riders with pets
Riders may bring one animal such as a dog, a cat or any other animal classed as a domestic pet. There are no restrictions on size or breed, but riders are advised to contact the driver in case their animal is exceptionally big or exotic.
- The Pet category is not available in every city and is optional. You can decide at any time to opt-in or out of this category
- If a rider wants to take a pet animal along for their regular Bolt trip, you can decide whether or not you wish to complete such a trip. You may refuse to carry a pet animal on board of your vehicle. If you need to reject such a ride, kindly let the rider know why.
