Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
Every Bolt driver is required to submit a copy of Police Clearance Certificate, otherwise known as the Certificate of Good Conduct.
How to get checked
You must visit your nearest (Directorate of Criminal Investigations) DCI or Huduma Centre to get your fingerprints captured.
Application must be done in person. Check out the steps below on how to complete this requirement.
What must I do?
Visit your nearest cyber cafe, log into your e-citizen portal, fill in the C24 form online, and book an appointment at the nearest DCI Centre or Huduma Centre.
Payment is via MPESA Only.
What must I bring?
You must bring one copy of the C24 printed on both sides of A4 paper, two copies of the invoices you receive from DCI, your original National ID and one photocopy of the National ID.
How long is a PCC valid for?
The certificate will be valid for one year from the date of issue.
The PCC must be submitted to Bolt within 30 days of issuance.
How much does it cost?
It costs KES 1050 to get your PCC.
How long does it take?
You will receive an outcome through email from the DCI once processing is complete.
