Car linking and application process
Submitting your car application is very easy through the Bolt driver app. This is called the car linking process, and it now only requires one document.
What are the required documents?
cARscan Digital Inspection. That's it! This document can be obtained by downloading the cARscan app from the app store and completing the self-inspection.
Car Applications Step-by-Step
Go to settings
Select “Vehicles”
Select “Add new vehicle”
Enter the car's license plate
Select “Continue”
Input the car details (vehicle manufacturer, model, year, colour)
Select “Next”
Upload your cARscan digital inspection
Use your car license disc expiry date
FAQ
Log into your Bolt Driver App and go to the settings.
You must have your CarScan digital inspecton report.
Provided you have submitted the correct CarScan inspection report, linking should take less than 24 hours.
The cost for the CarScan report is R239, payable by card before starting the self inspection.
