Car linking and application process
Submitting your car application is very easy through the driver app. This is what is called the car linking process.
Log into your Bolt Driver App.
What must I do?
1. License & Roadworthy Certificate Disc
(Single license disk accepted in Cape Town, George, Rustenburg & Mthatha)
2. Operator Car Disk
(Not applicable for the above mentioned cities)
3. If the car is being added to the Bolt platform for the first time, a Dekra car inspection is required.
What must I have available?
How long does it take?
How much does it cost?
Provided you have submitted the correct documents, linking should take less than 24 hours.
No cost for linking your car with Bolt.

A Bolt Dekra car inspection report must be uploaded if your car is not already on the Bolt platform.
Please submit the inspection report regardless of the assessment. Bolt determines whether the car is added to the platform, not Dekra.
