Impound Reimbursements
If your vehicle is impounded by traffic officials during an official Bolt trip due to not having a public operator license, Bolt offers reimbursement for penalties paid to release your vehicle. The Cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg are currently accepting applications for public operator licenses. We encourage all drivers to apply to avoid impoundment.
