General Manager

As Bolt continues to expand its Carsharing business, we are looking for a data-driven, passionate and dynamic General Manager with excellent leadership skills to help us transform the mobility industry in Estonia and lead our local Bolt Drive unit.

About the role

As a General Manager, you’ll lead all local operations, including devising strategies and managing P&L, fleet management, supply chain and procurement. You’ll define and achieve business goals to drive growth and maximise profitability while considering our customers’ needs.

You’ll oversee the team in charge of keeping detailed records of all servicing, repairs, and inspections performed on our vehicles. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. local key vendors and vehicle repair shops) and acting as the primary point of contact between our business and regulators, government officials, and local communities.

Acting as a Country Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with Director of Carsharing Operations and teams at the HQ, which include Product, Public Relations, Growth Analytics, Central Operations, Marketing, Regulatory, and Customer Support to efficiently address any issues related to operations or products.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Taking ownership of Bolt's growth by building, leading and developing a high-performing team and ensuring Local Operations and HQ teams actively support and collaborate to meet business goals.
Leading the financial and strategic planning process, taking complete ownership of the P&L statement, and ensuring we make the best data-driven decisions.
Creating streamlined procedures and scalable processes to ensure efficient business operations, boost productivity and profitability, and increase customer satisfaction.
Overseeing the business performance and ensuring legal compliance and health and safety standards in cooperation with various internal teams.
Expanding Bolt's presence and elevating our brand, product, and service by establishing strategic business partnerships and working closely with local authorities.
What we expect
About you:
You have at least 7 years of experience in Operations Management or a related field and have repeatedly shown your ability to drive business growth and bring expertise in P&L management. Previous experience in the Automotive industry or Fleet Management is a plus.
You have proven experience in managing an Operations team and possess leadership qualities that enable you to motivate and mentor your team and achieve positive outcomes.
You demonstrate a highly data-driven, analytical mindset, and you can examine data to optimise your team's activities and identify patterns and trends within the data.
You can effectively communicate in English and Estonian, efficiently network, and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You’re passionate about new technologies and shared mobility and are used to creating business frameworks that are a foundation for your strategies and decisions.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, easily overcoming obstacles and quickly adapting to changes.
