General Manager

We're looking for a General Manager to join the Bolt Drive team to build, manage, and scale our carsharing business across the Czech Republic. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you’ll focus on leading and developing a high-performing team that drives business growth and profitability while ensuring a great user experience.

About the role

As a General Manager, you’ll lead all local operations, including defining the strategy, managing the P&L, fleet management, pricing, and marketing. You’ll define and achieve business goals to drive growth and maximize profitability while considering our customers’ needs.

You’ll oversee the team in charge of keeping detailed records of all servicing, repairs, and inspections performed on our vehicles. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., vehicle repair shops) and acting as the primary point of contact between our business and regulators, government officials, and local communities.

In your role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and teams at HQ, which include Product, Public Relations, Data Analytics, Marketing, and Customer Support to efficiently address any issues related to operations or products.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead Bolt Drive business operations in Czech Republic, emphasizing team development and adaptability.
Scale and professionalize operational processes.
Define and reach business goals, mainly focused on user growth, safety, fleet operations, and customer experience.
Assume responsibility for the P&L, steering revenue growth, profitability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyze metrics and implement projects to improve operational and financial city metrics. We are a data-driven company.
What we expect
About you:
You have at least 7 years of experience in an operations or general management role and have repeatedly shown your ability to drive business growth.
You demonstrate a highly data-driven, analytical mindset, and you can examine data to optimize your team's activities and identify patterns and trends within the data.
You can communicate fluently in English and Czech, and effectively build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.
You are passionate about new technologies and shared mobility.
You are a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day.
