Important Information Regarding Kaunas Low Emission Zone Fee for Ride-Hailing Drivers
Effective February 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a LEZ fee will not be applied to you or your passenger when entering the Kaunas LEZ with an active ride-hailing/taxi order.

However, the LEZ fee may still be visible on this page for up to 14 days after the order is completed. This is because the Bolt platform will, within a set timeframe, provide data on completed orders within the LEZ to the "Parkavimas Kaune" institution. This institution will cancel the fee shortly after receiving the data, and you will no longer see the debt.

Data Sharing with "Parkavimas Kaune"

Starting from February 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Bolt platform will share your data with the "Parkavimas Kaune" institution.

Data Provided: Vehicle registration numbers, order start and end times

Frequency of Data Sharing: Data will be sent every 14 days. If this falls on a public holiday, data will be sent on the nearest working day.

Conditions for Data Sharing: Data will only be shared if you had rider pick-up, drop-off, additional stops, or the trip's end point within the low emission zone.

Fee Cancellation and Refunds

If you paid the entry fee to the zone before Bolt submitted the data, you can contact "Parkavimas Kaune" for a refund by email at info@parkavimaskaune.lt or by phone at +37062084060.

If the fee for the order has not been cancelled after 14 days, please contact info@parkavimaskaune.lt or call +37062084060.

If, at the end of the payment term, you see that not the entire amount has been cancelled, we recommend that you pay it before the 30-day deadline and contact "Parkavimas Kaune" to get a refund.
Payments for Entries without an Active Order

If you entered the zone without an active order, we recommend that you pay the fee immediately to avoid incurring a debt.

If you passed through the zone in transit – if the rider pick-up, drop-off, or additional stop was not in the low emission zone, the entry fee will not be cancelled.

The fee must be paid within 30 days of entering the zone.

If you do not pay within 30 days, this will be considered a violation and may be subject to a fine.

To receive reminders about upcoming payments, you can subscribe here. Reminders are only an aid, and not receiving them does not release you from the obligation to pay.

If you also provide ride-hailing services with other platforms, the possibility of canceling the entry fee to the low emission zone should be assessed by the respective platform.
