The Operations Specialist supports UK operations by driving operational excellence while ensuring alignment with licensing, regulatory and internal policy requirements. The role focuses on questioning existing ways of working, simplifying and automating processes, analysing data, and implementing practical solutions that improve the team’s efficiency, accuracy and scalability. Working within the strategy and priorities set by the Operations Manager, the Operations Specialist takes ownership of assigned improvement projects from scoping through implementation and adoption. These projects may include redesigning processes, building automations using AI and other available tools, analysing safety or operational data, measuring and monitoring outcomes, conducting risk assessments, or proposing improvements to the wider Trust & Safety and compliance framework. While Trust & Safety and compliance are the role’s primary focus, the Operations Specialist may also support operational excellence initiatives in adjacent UK operations teams, such as Driver Growth, where their expertise can deliver wider operational benefits. This requires strong project delivery and change management, as well as the ability to turn operational problems into practical, compliant solutions.
