Vehicle linking and application requirements
Submitting your vehicle application is simple using the Bolt Driver app; this process is known as vehicle linking.
We accept vehicles that fulfil the following requirements:

Must be registered in Malta and provide a vehicle registration certificate (Logbook).

Must be in perfect technical and external condition (i.e. always clean inside and outside, in a good and functional state, Vehicle Roadworthiness Test (VRT) confirmed).

Has at least 4 doors and 5 seats.

The vehicle cannot have "taxi" attributes, and the format of the vehicle's license plate number must end with " Y " (for example XXY 123).
Log into your Bolt Driver App.
What must I do?
LPTS (Operator Licence), Logbook, Vehicle Licence (Road Disk), Airport Sticker, Safety Kit (First Aid Kit, Warning Triangle, Fire Extinguisher), and Photo of the Vehicle with a visible number plate.

Within a few hours you should have
your vehicle linked.

No cost for linking your vehicle with Bolt.
How much does it cost?
A few important things:

Remember that a vehicle cannot be simultaneously activated on both Fleet Partner and Self-Employed Partner profiles or activated on two different Fleet Partner and Driver Partner profiles.

In the event of a change in ownership or sale of the vehicle to another Fleet Partner or Driver Partner, valid documentation is required before the vehicle can be transferred and linked to the new profile. Please request an appointment and visit our Driver Engagement Center to complete this process.

LPTS: Showing the vehicle is added to the license

Vehicle Application
Go to “Settings”
Select “Vehicles”
Select “Add new vehicle”
Enter the vehicle’s number plate/license plate
Select “Continue”

Input the vehicle details (vehicle manufacturer, vehicle year model, colour, etc.)
Select “Next”
Add the required documents
