Program Manager, Safety Risk Detection

We are seeking a Program Manager for Risk Detection with strong data management skills (SQL) and extensive experience in risk management and criminal acts prevention.

About the role

Our Central Safety team is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and coordinating the prevention of risks targeting users and accounts that could lead to real-world harm. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring risk detection KPIs and dashboards, preparing reports on criminal activity patterns, coordinating the prevention of identified risks, modeling and maintaining safety risk rules, and delivering safety risk assessments for new projects and updates to existing products. Our ultimate goal is to protect the safety of Bolt users globally, minimize reputational risk linked to criminal activities, and enable sustainable company growth.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Detect safety risk trends and analyze criminal activity patterns.
Validate and refine predictive models for detecting and preventing criminal activity in collaboration with the Data Science team.
Monitor local safety crises and emerging risks to uncover root causes and support model improvements.
Analyze flagged anomalies and user-reported tickets to identify unflagged risks and propose new detection mechanisms.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
Perform risk assessments for new products and updates to existing ones, leveraging machine learning solutions.
What we expect
About you:
At least 5 years of experience in risk investigation, penetration testing, or red team operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, translate insights into actionable strategies, and write SQL queries.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
Effective team player who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
Previous experience in the space of safety, fraud, or banking investigations is a plus.
