We are looking for a data-driven and results-oriented Operations Manager with excellent analytical and leadership skills, to take ownership of Driver Operations (Driver Growth and Engagement) and Vehicles & Fleets in Paraguay, Asuncion.Location: Asunción, Paraguay

About the role

You will be responsible for the Driver Operations and Vehicles/Fleets domains. Your role will involve designing strategies and executing projects to grow the driver base on the platform while ensuring strong retention rates. Additionally, you will oversee the development of the fleet business and ensure a healthy, well-balanced marketplace in terms of vehicle availability and quality. Your role will have a direct and tangible impact through continuous improvement of the driver and rider experience by strengthening Bolt's value proposition in Paraguay. You will be working alongside other Operations Managers of different seniority levels and report directly to the General Manager. You will be involved in the definition and implementation of the strategy for the Paraguayan market, with a full entrepreneurial view & hold a key strategic position in the management of the team in Paraguay.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Strategy Development: design and execute strategies to increase driver growth, engagement and retention and related to vehicles and fleets (programs, acquisition, management.
Grow the number of active drivers, fleets and vehicles and maximize the number of online hours while improving cost efficiency and the quality of the marketplace.
Strengthen relationships with drivers/fleets and communities serving as a local ambassador for the brand to drive business growth.
Own operational performance by setting clear KPIs, monitoring key metrics, and implementing data-driven action plans to improve driver quality, availability, and efficiency.
Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with Fleet Owners and key stakeholders, leveraging insights to inform business decisions.
Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Business Development, and Central Operations.
Design and implement local initiatives, campaigns, and process improvements that positively influence driver behaviour and marketplace outcomes.
Identify market trends, competitive insights, and product improvement opportunities, advocating for local priorities within the broader organization.

About you:

You have 5+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, general management, start-up with fast-paced environment or a related field with a strong quantitative component.
You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Management, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
You are highly analytical and comfortable using data to drive strategic decision-making.
You have strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent English & Spanish negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
You demonstrate strong ownership, independence, and the ability to work towards ambitious goals.
You are humble, self-aware, and committed to continuous self-improvement as a leader.
You are comfortable with developing analytical and decision frameworks to support your strategies and decisions.
