To be eligible for our platform, your vehicle must meet the following requirements:
- Have the gray card
- Have the green card
- Have the VTC badge (macaron).
For specific categories, additional requirements apply.
Bolt uses the ACRISS classification system for its different categories.
Bolt / Pet
- Interior and exterior photos of vehicles older than 12 years must be provided. These vehicles will be admitted if they are in perfect conditions
- Thermal vehicles must not be older than 7 years
- Vehicle should have between 4 and 9 seats
- Vehicle should have at least 4 doors
- Vehicle should have dimensions of 4,50 m x 1,70 m (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, then there are no dimension limits)
- Vehicle should have engine power equal to or higher than 84 kW (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, then there are no dimension limits)
Comfort
- Vehicle should not be older than 7 years
- Additional quality metric requirements may apply

- Vehicle should have at least 4 doors
- Vehicle should have engine power equal to or higher than 84 kW
- This category is available in Paris, Lille, Lyon, Nice, Bordeaux, Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Nantes, Strasbourg, Nancy, Reims, Rouen, Tours
- List of eligible vehicles
- Have a driver rating of 4.6/5 or higher
Note: If you are not eligible for the Premium category, you will continue to receive rides in the basic Bolt category until you meet the Premium category requirements.
Van
- Vehicle should not be older than 7 years
- Vehicle should have from 6 to 9 seats
- Vehicle should have at least 4 doors
- Vehicle should have engine power equal to or higher than 84 kW (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, then there are no dimension limits)
- This category is available in Paris, Grenoble, Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Dijon

Green
- Interior and exterior photos of vehicles older than 12 years must be provided. These vehicles will be admitted if they are in perfect conditions
- Vehicle should be electric or hybrid
XL
- Vehicle should have between 6 and 9 seats
- Vehicle should have at least 4 doors
- Vehicle should have engine with a power equal to or higher than 84 kW (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, then there are no dimension limits)
- This category is available in Lille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulouse, Nantes, Strasbourg, Annecy, Biarritz-Bayonne

Women for Women
- The category is only available for women
- The vehicle must have between 4 and 9 seats
- The vehicle must have at least 4 doors
- The vehicle must have minimum dimensions of 4.50 m x 1.70 m (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, which have no size limits)
- The vehicle must have an engine with a power equal to or greater than 84 kW (except hybrid & electric vehicles)
Child Booster Seat
- Have a driver rating of 4.7/5 or higher
- Always have a booster seat in the car
- Interior and exterior photos of vehicles older than 12 years must be provided. These vehicles will be admitted if they are in perfect conditions
- Thermal vehicles must not be older than 7 years
- Vehicle should have between 4 and 9 seats
- Vehicle should have at least 4 doors
- Vehicle should have dimensions of 4,50 m x 1,70 m (except for electric and hybrid vehicles, then there are no dimension limits)
