Lead Mechanic
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Mechanic to ensure that our local maintenance team is well-equipped and maintains the highest quality standards when repairing vehicles in 3 locations.

About the role
As a Lead Mechanic, you'll manage a team of mechanics and ensure their work is efficiently organised, provide them with training and guidance, and help them develop.
In addition, you’ll be in charge of overseeing the warehouse operations where the e-scooter are stored. This includes managing procurement activities to ensure that mechanics have all the necessary equipment and materials to work efficiently.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Managing teams of mechanics by organising and delegating different tasks between the team.
Taking proactive responsibility for daily and routine operations in the warehouse and maintaining an efficient inventory management system to ensure prompt availability of spare parts.
Ensuring highest possible repair quality and safety for our customers.
Performing weekly and monthly inspections of the warehouse, identifying areas for improvement, and tracking and implementing actions to enhance efficiency and safety.
Supporting the Operations Manager Maintenance on regional projects and sharing best practices across all locations.
Prioritising the operational needs of the warehouse and the management of mechanics to optimise operational output.
What we expect
About you:
You have previous experience managing a team.
You’re fluent in English and the local language and possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
Your hands-on work demonstrates a high level of initiative in actively seeking solutions to challenges and a strong sense of ownership.
You possess strong analytical skills and experience working with software like Excel or Google Sheets.
You're experienced in driving efficiency by improving and standardising processes, and you can effectively prioritise and delegate work assignments.
You’re capable of working independently and possess strong time management skills.
