1st interview

You'll experience your first live coding round in which you'll solve an algorithmic task. This will test your programming skills and practical knowledge of computer science, security concepts, and data structures.

2nd interview

Next, you’ll advance to our second interview, a code review exercise. This interview segment will focus on finding issues in existing code, fixing them, and improving the solution. Throughout the interview, we'll evaluate your proficiency in error handling and software design and your ability to tackle software-related challenges effectively.

System design interview

Here, you’ll design a distributed system from scratch. The goal is to evaluate your ability to design scalable and reliable systems. We'll also touch upon service operations, including system monitoring and alerting.

Finally, you'll have a behavioural evaluation and team-fit meeting, during which you'll meet with a future lead from your potential team. We'll delve into your motivations and discuss potential career trajectories within Bolt.
