Operations Specialist

The Operations team at Bolt holds the full responsibility for strategy, marketplace health and growth of our Ridehailing business in Canada. To further expand on our success story we are looking for a data-driven and passionate individual with a get-it-done-attitude, helping us to transform the mobility industry in Canada.

About the role

As an Operations Specialist you will have a direct and tangible impact on local operations that you can see in real-time. If you’re ready to take full ownership of your work, disrupt the marketplace, and shape movement patterns in the urban landscape - here’s your chance!

You will be leading local operations projects and working closely with other cross-functional/HQ stakeholders to support our mission to make cities more sustainable, accessible, and affordable.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Review core metrics, form bonds with key partners and execute on supply-, demand- and investment strategies
Create, optimise or even remove processes – efficiency is our priority; you will help us find the smoothest way to run operations, solve challenges where others turn away, and influence the way we are going in the future
Hands-on supply management - working autonomously and taking initiatives through the stages of driver acquisition, conversion, activation and retention
Taking ownership over projects which contribute to our overall market performance and operational efficiency with the main goal to get our Rides business in Canada to the next level
What we expect
About you:
You have 2+ years of experience in Operations, Startups, Strategy Consulting or other relevant organizations, ideally with experience in Safety and Risk Analysis
You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills in English (French is a big plus)
You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, yet are not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed
You have a strong motivation to solve problems creatively and efficiently
You thrive in a fast-paced environment
You are customer-oriented and will strive to strengthen our value proposition to ensure supply growth
