As Bolt continues to expand its ride-hailing business, we are looking for a data-driven, passionate and dynamic Operations Manager with excellent leadership skills and a get-it-done attitude to help us transform the mobility industry in Tanzania.

About the role
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Own, manage, and drive the expansion of the Bolt Ride Hailing business in assigned cities, with responsibility for its Profit and Loss (P&L)
Oversee programs and projects focused on business growth and process enhancements, aiming to deliver outstanding service to users and drivers.
Formulate and execute strategies to improve the value proposition for drivers and riders, increase the supply base, and enhance performance and retention.
Engage in Business Development to identify new revenue opportunities, forge partnerships, and negotiate and structure contracts, including collaborations with driver and vehicle fleets.
Lead and develop a team of Operations Specialists to ensure the successful implementation of all projects, programs, and activities.
Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency
What we expect
About you:
You have 5+ years of experience in an analytical, consulting, or managerial role.
You possess a data-driven analytical mindset and skills, with advanced knowledge in Excel as a requirement.
You have experience leading a team and a passion for developing people.
You preferably have experience in P&L management and business development.
You ideally have experience managing new product launches or market entry processes.
You have excellent negotiation and communication skills in English and Swahili.
