Senior Marketplace Analyst, Delivery

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join our Delivery Marketplace team and help us scale and improve our pricing solutions that impact millions of food and groceries deliveries across multiple continents!

About the role

Join us as a Senior Product Analyst at Delivery Marketplace and help us grow Bolt Food!

As a Senior Product Analyst, you will accelerate the discovery to build scalable and data-driven pricing mechanisms. You will demystify pricing by exploring how to set prices for customers, how to compensate couriers for delivering orders, and how to leverage dynamic pricing to grow the marketplace. You will have the opportunity to fully combine your technical expertise in causal inference, applied statistics, and microeconomics, with your business acumen in understanding the deep-rooted needs of our customers and couriers.

You will be part of the Delivery Marketplace team that builds data-driven global solutions to improve the customer experience while meeting financial goals to accelerate Bolt Food’s growth. Curious to get a sneak peek of what the job entails? Scroll down to the next section to find out!

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Defining research questions to analyse the performance of pricing features, identify points of improvement, and design new solutions based on your analysis
Owning and enforcing AB-testing best practices end-to-end: designing experiments, validating features, drawing conclusions, and recommending next steps
Supporting the team’s information needs by building large-scale data models for continuous visibility on the most actionable Pricing related performance metrics
Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to prioritise projects and contribute to the team’s roadmap with impact estimations and innovative product improvements
What we expect
About you:
You hold a Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
You have at least 2-4 years of experience working in Analytics and/or Data Science
You rate your SQL skills as “outstanding” and Python/R experience as “profound”
You have experience with BI tools and data visualisation to build compelling stories with data to drive change among your team and stakeholders
You can prove your ability in experimentation: applied statistics, designing and experiments, and providing recommendations
Your verbal and written communication skills in English are outstanding
