About the role

As a Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst you will play a key role in establishing and leading the global strategy, methodology and best practices for competitor data collection, setting clear standards for data quality and processes.

Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into concrete business decisions, providing strategic insights to drive competitive advantage and new market expansion.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end CI data collection process across African markets, including partnership with or developing/launching reliable data sources, evaluating data quality, automatization and optimization of the data collection process.
Work closely with African country teams and Management to identify inconsistencies and inefficiencies in CI data and reporting process, actively seek ways to improve data quality and streamline processes.
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments across the African market identifying key opportunities and threats.
Provide deep, actionable insights into competitors' strategies, tactical movements, market positioning, rider/driver value prop changes to influence business decisions and market entry strategies.
Develop and take ownership of a single, centralized source of CI data for all key competitors and markets across the globe.
Train and support internal stakeholders on CI tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
What we expect
About you:
Master degree in Business, Statistics, Research or related field.
5+ years of proven experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a similar analytical role in the African market.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent understanding of the African market landscape, main competitors, and potential data sources.
Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across local as well as central stakeholders.
