FP&A Analyst, Bolt Drive

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to focus on budgeting, cost optimization, and reporting for Bolt Drive. This role involves partnering with business analytics, local operations, and financial planning teams to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and strategic decision-making for our car-sharing business.

About the role

Bolt Drive launched in May 2021, and now operates across 6 countries. In the role as an FP&A Analyst you will focus on budgeting, cost optimization, and reporting for the Bolt Drive vertical.

This is a global role in a rapidly expanding business line including close collaboration with business analytics, local operations, financial control, and planning teams to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency through automation. It requires a strong financial background, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. The role bridges financial analysis with strategic decision-making, contributing to the overall performance of the car-sharing business line.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing budgets, including scenario modeling and variance analyses, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Profitability Optimization: Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvements. Provide actionable recommendations and push their implementation to enhance overall profitability and return on investment.
Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely reports, focusing on key financial and operational metrics and insights into their main drivers.
Reporting Enhancements: Work closely with data and financial control teams to improve reporting frameworks, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across markets.
Automation: Lead initiatives to automate reporting processes and enhance efficiency using tools such as scripting solutions or connections to Looker.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to support strategic and operational decisions.
What we expect
About you:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
You have 1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or business control.
You have advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling and report automation, with familiarity in SQL or Google Apps Script being a plus.
You possess a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent attention to detail.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.
You are fluent in English.
