We are looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join Bolt Market's local team and support the day-to-day operations of one of our dark stores.

About the role
The Operations Specialist will be a key member of our Bolt Market local team, responsible for supporting the daily operations of one of our dark stores. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient processes, manage staff, and maintain operational excellence.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, and Health and Safety regulations, as well as adherence to Standard Operating Procedures for store organization and cleanliness.
Acting as the main point of contact for Supply Chain, Category, Marketing, Customer Support, Courier Operations, Legal, and Procurement teams for store-related questions and coordination.
Overseeing inventory management, including stock acceptance and the Return to Supplier process.
Managing purchasing orders based on supply forecasts and handling communication with suppliers regarding delays and operational issues. Solving complex order issues that pickers cannot handle independently.
Analyzing sales data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and customer feedback (NPS Score), sharing performance insights and reports with Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
Training, overseeing, and managing store staff, temporarily stepping into roles like Picker, Senior Picker, or Shift Lead when necessary.
What we expect
About you:
You have previous relevant experience in operations management, supply chain/warehouse management, business development, retail, or related industries.
You have a proven track record of consistently achieving quality metrics and operational targets by improving operational processes and frameworks.
You have great analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data to support decision-making.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You are social and can easily network with people of all backgrounds and you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Romanian and English.
You have availability to work a standard schedule (9 AM - 6 PM) with flexibility to sometimes join on weekends, early mornings, or nights if needed.
